Meet Renewal Life Church - Your New Faith Family!

Renewal Life Church is a vibrant, Spirit-led ministry rooted in the heart of Chicago and committed to spreading the message of Jesus Christ across the globe. Our journey began in 2009 under the name The Lord Cares Ministry (TLC)—a small but passionate outreach birthed from a desire to bring hope and healing to the hurting. In 2011, as our vision expanded, we were renamed Renewal Life Worship Embassy, reflecting our call to be a place of worship, restoration, and global influence.

By 2015, our mission had grown beyond the walls of traditional ministry. We rebranded as Renewal Life Worldwide Worship Center, embracing the international reach of our teaching, online presence, and spiritual partnerships. Then in 2024, to better support our growing multi-campus vision and community development work, we rebranded once more—this time simply as Renewal Life Church. This final name change underscores our commitment to simplicity, accessibility, and planting churches that meet the real needs of everyday people.

A Church That Builds More Than People—We Build Communities

At Renewal Life Church, we believe in holistic ministry: spirit, soul, and body. We don’t just preach about transformation—we create spaces for it. That’s why we are actively engaged in affordable housing development and mental health services through our sister organization, Renewal Life Community Development Corporation.

We’ve helped secure over $75,000 in resources in 2025 alone, and we are on track to surpass $100,000 by the end of the year. Our work includes:

Affordable Housing Projects: We’re building safe, high-quality housing for families, single mothers, veterans, and migrant communities—starting right in the Woodlawn neighborhood of Chicago.

Mental Health Access: Through church-based counseling, community workshops, and plans for a full-service mental health center, we are removing the stigma and providing real support for trauma, depression, grief, and emotional healing.

We are a people-focused church with a Kingdom-driven mandate to Edify, Educate, and Elevate. Whether through worship, the Word, housing initiatives, or healing ministries—Renewal Life Church is where transformation begins.
